Who you are
We are looking for an experienced Group Consolidation Accountant (Corporate Controller) to join our finance team. The role is based in Ghana but reports directly to the Fido Finance team in Israel and will lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the entire Fido Group. This is a key role for someone with strong consolidation experience and deep understanding of credit and lending operations.
- Professional membership (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ICA or equivalent) is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in group consolidation or corporate controllership is a strong advantage
- Proven experience preparing consolidated financial statements
- Background in credit, lending, or financial services
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience working in multinational or multi-entity environments
- Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
What you will do
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal group policies
- Coordinate with local accountants in each country
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations
- Support group-wide financial analysis and board reporting
- Contribute to process improvements and automation in group reporting
- Assist in technical accounting matters related to credit products and loan portfolios
