POSITION OVERVIEW: 

This position will ensure all areas of the Casino area clean and presentable. As needed, may be required to assist the EVS Lead Supervisor with administrative functions of the department. 

 

This position ensures the confidentiality, security and accuracy of guest’s and team member records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: 

This position directly supervises EVS Custodial personnel. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

The essential function of the EVS Supervisor includes but not limited to: 

 

  • Assumes primary responsibility for assigned shift(s). 

  • Has working knowledge of and ensures adherence to the Casinos’ safety policies and procedures. 

  • Assists subordinate division Team member with guest complaints, incidents, etc., as needed. 

  • Understands the Casinos’ Mission Statement and Culture and promotes the same. 

  • Knowledgeable of the Casinos’ Disaster Plan and understands his/her role. 

  • Participates in the recognition, evaluation, and disciplinary processes for Team Member’s. 

  • Assists with the preparation of schedules. 

  • Maintains Casino property and equipment. 

  • Performs clerical duties as needed. 

  • Participates in the training of new team members. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

GED or High School diploma requiredAn associate degree preferred and/or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience will be considered. 

 

SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

A minimum of two (2) years of custodial experience required and one (1) year prior experience in managing/supervising a facilities or compatible department. Prior Housekeeping/Environmental Service experience, working knowledge of cleaning solutions and the ability to read and interpret SDS sheets is required.
