Position: Registered Nurse Children's BH [1263]

Program: Amarillo, Texas – Children’s Medication Clinic Behavioral Health

Salary: $70,865.60 - $81,660.80 annually

Shift available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
• Registered Nurse provides professional psychiatric nursing services for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Units of TPC
• Responsible for the care and treatment of assigned clients in accordance with accepted nursing and medical standards
• Works closely with all TPC treatment team members and community partners to attend to the psychiatric needs of clients
• Interacts with clients in a person-centered trauma-informed manner and provides direct services in the area of medication, mental health education and care coordination
• Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications to be successful in the job:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in nursing from an accredited program
• Work experience as an RN in a recognized health agency, hospital, or health care facility
• Licensed through the Texas State Board of Nursing Examiner (TXBNE) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• License must be current and in good standing
• Must be able to demonstrate compliance with a TXBNE’s rules and regulations to maintain required license

• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
• Must be 18 years of age or older
