Hybrid Facilities Manager bei Clay County Missouri

Clay County Missouri’s Facility Maintenance Office seeks a dynamic, organized, and innovative leader to serve as its Facility Manager. The Facility Manager is tasked with leading, planning, managing, supervising, and evaluating a comprehensive program designed to deliver efficiency while maximizing taxpayer dollars in the care of Clay County’s buildings and grounds. The Facilities Manager will manage and lead maintenance personnel whose major responsibility is to provide visitors and employees with safe, attractive, comfortable, and efficient buildings and grounds. Duties will include providing general supervision over professional and technical staff, establishing staff priorities and allocating personnel resources, monitoring monthly expenditure, and maintaining the integrity of the county’s buildings and grounds.

The ideal candidate is familiar with construction methods and materials, knowledge of building codes and statutory law, has bachelor’s degree in related field, and the ability to interpret plans and specifications for construction projects and analyze issues. The candidate will also need high organizational and communication skills and be able to handle detailed and stressful situations. 

The employee will receive an annual salary, DOE, of $78,000.00 - $81,224.00 with a benefits package that includes two defined benefit retirement plans fully funded by the County and a deferred-compensation plan with a match on the first 4% contributed. We also offer three medical plans including two high deductible plans, dental, vision, two flexible spending accounts, and supplemental plans. Full-time employees are also offered life insurance (2X annual salary) paid by the County, paid vacation/sick leave, 14.5 paid holidays, LTD and tuition reimbursement.
