Full-Time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – North Dallas (Farmers Branch)

About the Opportunity:
Our client, a privately owned, Medicare-certified home health agency, is seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Full-Time Home Health RN to join their dedicated team serving seniors across the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care in patients’ homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Provide patient and family education on condition management, disease prevention, and medication protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with LVNs, therapists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
• Offer emotional support and advocacy to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, including OSHA and CDC guidelines for home health care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Texas RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (home health strongly desired); must have at least 2 years of general, critical care, or emergency care experience.
• Proficiency in infusion therapy required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in electronic health records and healthcare software.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Current BLS certification.
