Hybrid Registered Nurse, Part-time - Child & Adolescent Program bei Middle Flint Health & Wellness

Description of Duties:  Under general supervision of an RN, will assess clients mental and physical health needs. Completes nursing assessments to include vital signs, weight, BMI scores, and injections on C&A population. Will document nursing services in Carelogic within 24 hours after service delivery. Will be expected to meet established monthly and quarterly productivity standards. Will conduct med education groups during parent engagement night to educate families on the benefits and side effects of medications. Will work with prescribers in the C&A Outpatient Clinics and provide nursing services in the home and communities. Will administer urine drug screens to the identified, age-appropriate population. Will deliver nursing services via telehealth appointments. Will collaborate with internal and external prescribers regarding medication administration. Will complete CIR and safety plan for medication errors. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.   

Minimum Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.  Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License. Must be computer literate. 

Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 2+ years experience in Behavioral Health field.
