Position Title: Purchasing Agent Assistant
Department: Administration Others
Reports to: Administrative Director
POSITION SUMMARY
To support the Materials Manager and Administration as needed in purchasing and maintaining materials inventory needs.
HOURS
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week
CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
- Performs general clerical assistance as needed, including copying, scanning, and submitting invoices to fiscal.
- Assists in reviewing, pricing, recommending substitutes and ordering of supplies.
- Helps train new staff with Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC) ordering procedure.
- Assists with tracking of orders, gathering information on items requiring purchase, and responding to general customer service questions related to specifications of purchased items.
- Prepares and facilitates the pickup/delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) items to departments.
- Assists with keeping an accurate inventory of stored items.
- Provides support with receiving deliveries and exchanging damaged items.
- Serves as back up for Materials Manager.
- Assists with keeping warehouse organized and clear of obstructions.
- Assists with information regarding delivery of packages for all sites.
- Assists with delivery of ordered packages for Central and 6005 Yolanda.
- Other duties as assigned by Materials Manager, Director, or Administration.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
One (1) year of general office experience preferred; experience working with the public; experience working with A/P and A/R, computer knowledge. Bilingual helpful.
