Hybrid Designer/Drafter bei Harvard Integrations LP

Description

Develop 3D models of custom designed enclosures. Develop job component and assembly prints for custom manufactured enclosures. Work closely with Structural/Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers during the product design phase.

· Review all applicable documentation and company procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design

· Prepare drawings from engineering specifications and calculations, using 3D modeling software for review and approval by engineers and customers

· Confer with engineers to interpret design concepts, and determine design modifications needed

· Work with manufacturing staff to interpret designs, answer questions, and make changes as needed

· Communicate with internal and external customers effectively as needed for interpretation/clarification of drawings and specifications

· Communicate effectively with outside vendors on material and service requirements for each project

· Perform additional duties as requested

Requirements

· Associates Degree in Engineering or CAD preferred or equivalent drafting experience

· Formal training in AutoCad and SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
