Hybrid Night Porter - Part Time bei The Gateway Hotel & Conference Center

Job Purpose: Ensure common areas in the hotel are kept in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas and ensures areas are free of clutter
• Dust and clean inside of building 
• Sweep & mop common areas 
• Vacuum stairs, hallways and common areas
• Clean hotel restrooms
• Empty trash and garbage containers around hotel
• Responsible for supporting guest requests (i.e., bringing additional items to rooms; towels, pillows, glasses, etc.) as needed
• Ensure pool area and gym is well maintained, including keeping clean towels stocked 
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed 

Qualifications:

• Basic reading and writing
• Must have a STRONG attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push heavy carts without assistance repeatedly
• Must be a fast pace worker and work well with others
• Repetitive motions of standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and moving are required
• Must be able to work weekends and some Holidays
