Hybrid Registered Nurse (RN) bei Cedar Park Group

Cedar Park Med is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a secure correctional facility. This role involves working across a range of units including the Emergency Room, Long Term Care, Unit for the Cognitively Impaired, and Infirmary.

Schedule: All shifts available. Minimum of 8 hours and may extend to 12/16 hours if needed. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in a correctional facility setting.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Utilize the Virtual Office Ware (EMR system) for documentation.
• Monitor patient health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Ensure patients receive prescribed diets, adequate hydration, and proper hygiene.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary medical environment.
• Participate in security training and comply with facility protocols.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of professional and clinical experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification (required).
• Must successfully complete a 3-day medical orientation and security training.
• Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
• Ability to work in a correctional environment and maintain professionalism.
