Description: The Museum Assistant position is a part-time, receptionist, visitor services, security, and tour guide for the Berman Museum of Art.
Responsibilities:
- Working at the Berman reception desk as visitor services and security
- Opening and closing of the museum as needed
- Assistant at events and with event planning
- Give tours of exhibitions and outdoor sculpture collection
- Collections duties, including exhibition installation, as assigned by the Collections Manager
Requirements:
- Current full-time student at Ursinus College
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in art, art history, or museum studies is a plus
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
