Position Overview:

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for a clean, efficient and systematic employment area and maintaining safety and security of the warehouse. They are also responsible for making sure all DME is properly cleaned and logged into the logbook. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Cleans equipment and warehouse
• Prepares and assembles equipment
• Stocks equipment and supplies
• Assist with patient walk ins
• Perform QA checks, test equipment. Determine if defective DME equipment is still suitable for patient use or defective and can no longer be used.
• After cleaning equipment, it has to be bagged in a clear plastic bag and placed back in its corresponding shelf- to be marked down with a “clean” sticker
• Ensure cleaning area is kept organized and maintained throughout the day
• Ensure cleaning area is sanitized and logged at the end of each day
• Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
• Back up Patient Service Technicians
• Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED – required
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
• Familiarity with MS Office applications and internet (email)
• Comfort using heavy work-machinery, office machinery
• Good oral and written communication skills
