Position Overview

The inside sales role is responsible for selling Turf Care Equipment, allied and landscape products and other commercial products in addition to following up on sales leads and generating new business.


What You’ll Do

· Collaborate with the TCE Sales Manager and sales team to support field sales efforts across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee

· Provide in-depth product knowledge and promotional program details for all TCE categories

· Help develop TCE specific training tools and onboarding contents and assist in training Account Executives, branch staff, and inside sales teams

·  Assist with the creation, communication, and management of TCE promotions, ensuring clear understanding across branches and tracking rebate claims with vendors

· Review pricing practices, monitor for inconsistencies, and escalate issues to the Sales Manager for resolution

· Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Purchasing to address data integrity within SIMON, including item class corrections, price override monitoring, and new item setup

· Utilize Construct Connect to identify project leads and share them with the sales team

· Responsible for accuracy of products on STI- TCE website- add and update close out and used equipment

· Support the branches with TCE-related inquiries and solutions for customers

· Manage unassigned sales leads by generating quotes 

· Identify new business opportunities- new customer groups, products

· Responsible for equipment rebates- enter rebate credits, monitor and review various rebate reports and ensure credits are applied correctly


Skills We Are Seeking

· Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outside sales position is preferred

· Technical background in landscape equipment, irrigation, lighting, and associated products is required

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decisions

· Effective public speaking and presentation skills

· Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Simon Connect)

· Comfortable driving a truck with trailer and maintaining demo equipment
