Hybrid Quality Lab Technician/Inspector bei Chicago Magnesium Casting Company

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections to ensure the quality and safety of our products. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality control standards.

Primary responsibilities include preparation of chemical and mechanical lab samples, analysis and compilation of data. Must understand and operate Spectrograph & Micro grain inspection equipment and be trained as back-up with Tensile, Brinell, and Ultrasonic.

Requirements

Education/Training:

High School Degree or Equivalent; Degree a plus with chemistry

Tensile, Brinell, Spectrograph operation a plus

Experience:

Basic Math, Reading and Oral Communication, Time Management

Understanding and operation of a variety of measuring instruments and hand tools

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Data Entry, Software Operation
