Hybrid Registered Nurse - Per Diem Fri/Sat bei Philadelphia Women's Center

Registered Nurse – PER DIEM – 1 FRI 1 SAT A MONTH REQUIRED - NO NIGHTS – NO HOLIDAYS – NO CALL - starting rate $37-40 per hour  

SPANISH-SPEAKER STRONGLY PREFERRED

Per Diem hours available Tues-Saturday at Philadelphia Women’s Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center located in Center City Philadelphia. PWC has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 45 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for women seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care. One Friday and One Saturday a month required for Per Diem RNs.

Responsibilities include (Experience in one or more preferred):

-    Pre-procedure medical assessment

-    Recovery Room nursing

-    Participating in training of student nurses

-    Assisting in the education of practitioners in abortion care

-    Contributing to various research programs

The ideal candidate must possess:

-    Strong communication skills

-    Excellent patient care skills

-    Basic computer skills (EHR experience a plus!)

-    Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

-    Active Pennsylvania RN license

-    IV insertion experience preferred

-    Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required. Staff members who speak more than one language interpret for non-English speaking patients and their loved ones throughout their experience
