As the Manager of the Pruning Department, your role will entail leading and developing a team atmosphere committed to living out the mission and vision of RYAN Lawn & Tree. In your capacity as the Department Manager, you will assume the responsibility of leading a team comprising five dedicated associates within the pruning department, with a focus on driving revenue generation exceeding one million dollars.

 As Department Manager you will: 

• Develop an understanding of all the RYAN services  offered
• Confidently conduct team meetings and one on ones to communicate feedback, expectations, and goals 
• Set and meet annual, monthly, weekly and daily goals, budget forecasts
• Foster an environment of innovation, and fresh ideas while balancing overall profitability of the  forestry department
• Collaborate with other department managers and directors to ensure your branch as well as your department achieves its goals 
• Prioritize and help plan work activities daily and lead change management
• Teach and  reinforce Ryan safety methods
• Demonstrate interpersonal and customer service skills in a professional manner
• Coach team members to grow their client base
• Help Ryan continue to stand out in our industry

Requirements

• 5-8 years of related experience in management and operations. 
• ISA Certified Arborist
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills. 
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office or Google apps 
• Must be motivated, ambitious, high energy, hardworking and want to make a difference
• Current State driver's licenses with no violations 
• Able to obtain a Drivers Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Required)
