The Opportunity 

The Operations Finance Manager - Pacmoore is the lead business partner to the Pacmoore Operations team. This role is responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis to support the Pacmoore Operations site and associated support functions. Key areas of focus include cost of manufacturing, inventory, operations KPI’s and product costing. This permanent position will report to the VP Finance Operations.

• Partner with the Pacmoore Senior Leadership Team to drive efficiencies and growth.
• Successfully delivers quality financial reporting and insights to facilitate accurate and timely decision making.
• Embedding the company’s purpose, vision and values in all team activities and to ensure that robust succession and development planning is in place.
• Responsible for the monthly financial operations close and reporting cycle. Lead monthly accounts reviews to understand variances, and summarize explanations to key stakeholders as required.
• Responsible for leading all aspects of product costing. Ensure that key stakeholders understand the drivers of costs, and good collaboration with Commercial Finance regarding pricing.
• Responsible for preparing budgets/ forecasts for cost of manufacture as well as setting key operations metrics within gross margin.
• Lead the monitoring, reporting and analysis of operations KPI’s to support the Pacmoore business.
• Lead inventory reporting and analysis, specifically around the overall balance as well as inventory at risk. Implement proactive solutions to avoid inventory write offs. Monitor the control environment to ensure that cycle counts are being performed in line with group policy.
• Lead cost savings initiatives, including the accurate measurement of savings, and guiding the operations teams on areas of opportunity.
• Responsible for capital expenditure project accounting including ROI analysis, tracking project spend vs. plan, and initial fixed asset setup
• Relentless drive for continuous improvement to make Pacmoore financial processes as efficient as possible.
• Support site integration projects as needed. Eg. New warehouse management implementation.
• Collaborate effectively with Accounting and Control, Commercial Finance and other Operations Finance teams. 

The Skills you will bring to the team 

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of related experience.
• CPA license preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Hands-on experience of using and operating SAP systems, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a cross functional matrix organization
• Strong leadership and influencing skills
