Pay Range: $14.00-$16.00
JOB SUMMARY: A Bakery/Deli Assistant Manager shall assist in maintaining customer care as per company standard, responsible for the efficient expedition of all customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the total operation of the Deli Department during their shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of customer service.
2. Responsible for supervision of other associates on duty in the Bakery/Deli Department.
3. Responsible for immediately reporting any issues to Manager on duty.
4. Any other duties as assigned by Manager.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
2. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
3. Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the bakery/deli.
4. Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system.
5. Ability to move or transfer merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-75 pounds.
6. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
7. Ability to climb ladders.
8. Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
