Job Title: Project Manager
Department: Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for new product development projects and as a liaison between team members
- Manage the successful development and launch of new products cross functionally
- Coordinate internal and external resources to drive successful project outcomes
- Lead project planning
- Manage activities, milestones and deliverables & update project plans as needed
- Facilitate cross functional project team & gate meetings
- Report on project metrics: schedule, budget, risk, etc.
- Communicate project updates to senior management
- Become an expert using the project management tool- update data as needed
- Utilize & ensure compliance to our development process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- 5-10 years Product/Project Management, Business Analysis or product development related experience
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. MS Project or similar)
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience interfacing with customers and cross functional teams
- Experience in manufacturing preferred
- Attention to detail, accountability, self-motivation
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively navigate tight deadlines
