Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with school personnel to understand and address their technical needs.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support for software and hardware issues, ensuring minimal disruption to educational activities.
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, network equipment, and PC peripherals within school settings.
- Progress Reporting: Deliver detailed and timely updates on the status of technical issues and resolutions.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance of IT infrastructure in accordance with company standards.
- Cabling Infrastructure: Ensure the physical cabling infrastructure meets required standards for optimal performance.
- Equipment Management: Participate in the liquidation and disposal of outdated or surplus equipment.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Professionalism: Exhibit a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and positive demeanor.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, documenting all steps taken for resolution, including using an internal ticketing system.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively relay technical information and instructions (both written and verbal) to clients with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capability to follow through on tasks.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of various versions of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policy.
- Software Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.
- Networking Knowledge: Comprehension of networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP addressing and VLANs.
- OS Deployment: Familiarity with network-based PC operating system deployment.
- Adaptability: Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic, evolving-priority environment.
- Process Adherence: Ability to follow processes and protocols.
- Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Software Tools: Ability to learn and utilize software tools/applications (e.g., asset tracking and ticketing systems).
