Description
The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to optimize purchasing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards. Manage and coordinate all purchasing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to forecast purchasing needs.
Collaborate with others to ensure product quality and timely delivery of materials.
Assist with month-end inventory processes and resolve billing/receipt errors.
Perform other purchasing duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience in purchasing/procurement required.
Accounting/bookkeeping experience a plus.
SBT/Sage knowledge preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software, particularly Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and diligence.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree or related field is preferred.
