POSITION SUMMARY
Who we are
The Council on Recovery bridges wisdom and innovation, as a well-respected 75-year-old organization continues to respond to the fast paced, diverse city we are serving. Under new leadership, you would be joining a team grounded in years of experience and an openness to growing and learning. Our team is people-focused, ensuring quality services to our clients, while offering flexibility and a commitment to self-care for our staff.
The Role
Navigators at The Council on Recovery will utilize the Self Sufficiency and Wellbeing Matrix and a coaching mindset to assist clients in achieving their long-term goals towards self-sufficiency and wellbeing in order to help them break the cycle of living day to day and crisis to crisis. The goal of the program is to improve client and community outcomes and reduce disparities by coordinating holistic care. This role will focus on individuals who are ready to take the steps necessary to work on long term goals to turn their life situations around. Navigators are responsible for community outreach, client engagement, motivating, coaching and connecting clients with appropriate referrals and community resources. These efforts may be conducted individually, in partnership with other United Way funded provider organizations, and/or with other Council teams/staff.
Great Navigators will be knowledgeable of client/community resources in their assigned zip code level region and have experience developing relationships. They will be flexible and possess excellent organizational skills. If you are passionate, enjoy a fast pace, and looking to expand your skills in a supportive environment, you may be our next Navigator.
