Description
Are you passionate about nourishing young minds? Community Progress Council is hiring a Food Service Worker/Driver to join our Health and Nutrition Team in the Early Childhood Education program. Help us prepare and deliver nutritious meals that support the growth and development of children across York County.
What You’ll Do
- Support multiple centers with meal preparation as directed by the Food Service Coordinator.
- Prepares breakfast, lunch, and snacks by following Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines.
- Deliver meals and supplies to multiple centers
- Cleans kitchen, storerooms, countertops, stove, oven, sink, utensils, and equipment.
- Maintain food safety documentation and cleanliness standards
- Support kitchen operations and attend required trainings
- Participate in agency events and cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED or 1+ year of related experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of all required background checks, physical, and TB test
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong teamwork, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English
