Job Description:

Inventory Reporting and Analysis

  • Responsible for stock inventory reporting (e.g. stock turnover rate) and market sales trends.
  • Gather feedback from the market demand on the most requested references and slow movers with Retail Team.
  • Monitor competitors’ merchandising strategies and suggest improvements or adjustments to stay competitive in the market.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficient distribution of inventory report and develop new reporting tools as required. 
  • Product assortment variety: On hand stock analysis per POS to ensure optimal stock representation based on the available inventory and PA.
  • Prepare and update advance sales planning template regularly for the retail team.  

 

Stock Inventory Management

  • Monitor and analyse weekly delivery from HQ vs product allocation.
  • Prepare weekly shipment split from HQ and distribute the shipment to retail and wholesale.
  • Identify opportunities for product distribution process improvement, optimization, and implement solutions with Senior Retail Performance Manager.
  • Monitor stock aging and work with Senior Retail Performance Manager for action plan.
  • Monitor stock movement for quality check pieces and send back to HQ for repair.
  • Proposal to rebalance the stock across different POS on monthly basis. (e.g. stock rotation)
  • Recommendation of stock return to HQ for credit when necessary. (e.g. aging stock) 
  • Implement stock maintenance when necessary.  

 

Other Tasks

  • Support Brand Teams in selection of products for Press, Events and exhibitions with sellable product when necessary. 
  • Build strong communication with Sales Administration on the product deliveries and product request (if any) to help in monthly planification exercise. 
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of merchandising management experience, preferably for a luxury watch or jewellery brand and/or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience in conducting market research and analysing sales data.
  • Proficiency in MS office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of System such as Power BI, Cognos, M3 and Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Attention to details, organizational skills, strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Familiarity with SEA business operations is an advantage.
