Patient Access Representative - Surgical Services - Full-time 6a-2:30p

Performs the patient access functions, including the registration of patients, obtaining appropriate insurance information and scheduling surgeries while maintaining department quality standards. Also performs clerical and receptionist duties as assigned, as well as maintenance of the physical environment in their work area and the patient waiting room(s).

Schedule

This position is generally scheduled full-time 6a-2:30p (40 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. telephone, fax, copy machine, computer, printer).

• HS Diploma or GED.

• Previous work in the health care field preferred.
