Our work spans a broad range of areas, from disaster response and food and nutrition programs to education and empowerment initiatives for women and girls, as well as maternal and child health. We believe that poverty and inequality are injustices that can be eradicated within a generation, and we are committed to this goal through various innovative and community-driven approaches.
SCOPE OF WORK
25% - support to humanitarian policy team - attending Congressional hearings, internal and external coordination meetings, events, etc.
15% - support to food security policy advocate - monitor and analyze developments in the international food assistance space
15% - support to gender policy advocate - research USG policies focused on women and girls
15% - support to global health policy advocate - research on frontline health workers and vaccine development
30% - miscellaneous support to USPPA - attending meetings with Congress and Administration staff, research on foreign policy in the US elections, engaging country offices to develop advocacy content
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Event outline, speakers, and invitees for educational briefing
- Notes from internal and external coordination meetings and external events
- Research notes on assigned topics
