The Art Classroom Assistant supports the Art Teacher in delivering engaging and effective visual arts instruction for students. This role involves assisting with day-to-day classroom operations, preparing materials, organizing supplies, supporting students with projects, and ensuring a positive, creative environment. Ideal for candidates passionate about art and education, this position requires collaboration, adaptability and a proactive approach.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
•High School Diploma or equivalency.
•Formal training in Performing or Visual Arts (preferred).
EXPERIENCE
•One (1) year of experience teaching Visual Arts to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings and the ability to implement California Arts Standards for Visual Arts.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
•First Aid and CPR Certificate
•Proof of required education certificates
•Valid California Driver’s License or ID
