What R & D Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
Research and Development Engineering is responsible for developing and implementing new products through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering and documentation practices.
Job Description
This individual will be responsible for supporting projects related to the mechanical design and development of new products and improvements to existing products in the disposable medical devices. This individual will be involved with multi-disciplined teams to bring projects from concept through development and commercialization.
Responsibilities
Participate in multi-departmental teams to manage product development activities
Work on assigned projects to established timelines and generate/maintain project status reports
DHF Documentation and adherence to guidelines and requirements associated with FDA/QSR design controls
Product Performance Verification/Validation
Product Transfer from R&D to Manufacturing
Travel to Support & Drive Projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred
A minimum of 2+ years related work experience desired
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Anticipated salary range: $79,300 - $113,200
