Hybrid Compressor Operator/Lead Compressor Operator (Located in the Killdeer, Dickinson, Manning ND area) bei MDU Resources Group, Inc.

Lead Compressor Operator: Operate compressor station and support Compressor Operators to trouble shoot and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.  Trouble shoot and repair complex engines and components, compressors and components, PLC components, relief valves and regulators.  Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime and after hour calls.  

Compressor Operator: Operate the compressor station in a safe and efficient manner. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime and after hour calls.

Position is located 15 miles south of Killdeer, ND.

Compressor Operator: (Journeyman $41.87/hour)

• Experience in natural gas compression and dehydration processes and knowledge of natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities.
• Processes and operations including related DOT and OSHA regulations.  
• Associate degree in an industrial or mechanical related field or equivalent work experience acceptable to the Company.
• Ability to analyze problems and take corrective action.
• Possess good mechanical and electrical aptitude and have proven human relations and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements (i.e. medical card, log book).
• Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Lead Compressor Operator: ($43.31/hour)

In addition to the minimum qualifications of the Compressor Operator position, Lead Compressor Operator minimums include:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Journeyman Compressor Operator.
• Electrical Qualification Level 1 EQ as per the WBI Safe Practices Manual.
• Successfully complete required T-3 Operator Qualifications and cross-department training.
• Attend a Turbine or Reciprocating Engine Training course successfully.
• Successfully complete Advanced Compressor Operator Skills Checklist.
