Hybrid Kindergarten Teacher at North Elementary School SY 25-26 bei Des Plaines School District 62

Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a Kindergarten teacher at North Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year.   This is a one-year position to cover a leave of absence for the entire school year.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an early childhood endorsement.  3.  Experience as an early childhood or elementary teacher is preferred. 4. EL/ML endorsement preferred.

District Information:

District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school. 

Compensation Information:

• This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time.
