We are seeking a experienced Senior Human Resource Generalist to drive key HR initiatives and support our growing workforce. This role requires 10+ years of broad HR experience with strong ownership of onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS administration. You’ll play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations and shaping the employee experience across the company. 

 

This is a hands-on, people-first role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes initiative to build scalable HR processes.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a HR point of contact for employees and managers across all levels of the organization
  • Provide expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching needs
  • Address workplace concerns with professionalism and discretion, escalating sensitive issues when needed
  • Partner with leadership on retention, engagement, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Own and manage employee data and document control within ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Generate and interpret HR data reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, PTO usage, employee trends) for leadership use
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits
  • HR process improvement projects, including policy development, automation opportunities, and engagement programming
  • Collaborate with HR leadership on long-term planning, performance management frameworks, and cultural development
  • Contribute to initiatives such as employee recognition, training programs, and internal communications
  • Serve as backup support for benefits administration and payroll coordination as needed

Qualifications:  

 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR generalist or HRBP roles
  • Strong experience using ADP Workforce Now (including reporting, data management, and onboarding modules)
  • Thorough understanding of HR compliance and best practices across employment law, benefits, and employee relations
  • Strong communication, discretion, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and build relationships across departments

Preferred: 

  • Experience in technical industries such as aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
  • Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment with rapidly scaling teams
