Experience the EMBREY WAY by joining our dynamic People Services Team as the People Culture and Advisor.  

 

As our People Culture and Advisor, you will shape how EMBREY operationalizes its values by designing and applying people-centered processes focused on Employee Relations (ER), FMLA, and ADA compliance. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the ADA interactive process, ensuring fair, compliant accommodations.
  • Manage ER cases, including investigations, documentation, and resolutions.
  • Address attendance and conduct issues requiring early intervention.
  • Serve as contact for FMLA, Workers Compensation, and benefits inquiries, coordinating with HUB.
  • Maintain practical and legally sound SOPs to support consistent ER practices.
  • Ensure expert-level knowledge of the employee handbook for policy interpretation.
  • Begin building a digital SOP library with decision trees for independent manager problem-solving.
  • Integrate compliance and people-first principles into onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate workflow transitions to clarify responsibilities, e.g., payroll, ADA scheduling.
  • Monitor and support audit readiness for ER activities to ensure compliance and improvement.
  • Assist with special projects related to onboarding, policy processes, and people operations.
  • Ensure alignment of ER tools, policies, and practices with company culture and values.
  • Design risk-based resolution frameworks for managers with compliant response options.
  • Develop decision trees and resources to support manager autonomy and consistency.
  • Outline eLearning content to simplify ER processes for leaders.
  • Partner with the training team to convert SOPs into training tools and modules.
  • Stay updated on employment law, industry trends, and multi-state compliance.
  • Support policy-aligned processes for onboarding, including for remote or complex scenarios.
  • Contribute to strategic planning to align ER practices with company goals.

 

Qualifications  

  • 5 + years of progressive employee relations or HR experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified. Professional SPHR-CP or PHR required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required

 

Required Testing 

  • Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR
