Summary Statement:
The Cashier, Cage & Player Services is responsible for completing monetary transactions, exchanging tokens, processing wire transfers, performing credit checks and balancing books at the end of the shift. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all gaming laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties:Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Supervise Cage Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the casino cage, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Manage Staff: Supervise and train cage cashiers and clerks, ensuring they adhere to policies and procedures.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local gaming regulations, as well as company policies.
- Balance Cash: Ensure proper levels of cash and cash equivalents at cashier workstations and perform daily reconciliation of all banks.
- Customer Service: Uphold and enforce casino guest-service standards, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Safeguard Assets: Perform diligent safeguarding of cage assets and ensure secure operation of cashier cages.
- Report to Management: Provide regular reports to the Cage Shift Manager or other relevant supervisors.
Qualifications - Includes but is not limited to:
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High-school Diploma.
- 1- 3 years cashier experience.
- Age of 21 years or older.
Preferred:
- At least one year as a Casino Cage Cashier.
- Working knowledge of gaming regulations.
- Strong understanding of fraud prevention and credit scams.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
