Summary:
The skilled Maintenance Worker of Southeastern Integrated Care oversees staff and maintenance operations while ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our facilities. - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility's equipment, systems, and infrastructure are in optimal working condition. This includes checking HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other essential equipment.
- Repairs: Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues related to the facility's infrastructure. This may involve fixing leaks, repairing broken equipment, addressing electrical or plumbing problems, and ensuring prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment by inspecting and maintaining fire safety equipment, monitoring security systems, and promptly addressing any safety hazards or concerns.
- Groundskeeping: Maintain the exterior areas of the facility, including landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces to ensure a clean and inviting environment.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Assist with cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including common areas, restrooms, and patient rooms, to maintain a hygienic and comfortable environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, flooding, or other facility-related emergencies. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure the safety of individuals.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Ensure an adequate supply is maintained for efficient operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. This includes maintaining work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records for accountability and reference. Keeps receipts and submits timely for all purchases
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other facility staff, including administrators, clinical staff, and support personnel, to ensure maintenance needs are addressed promptly and efficiently. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and provide updates as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to maintenance, safety, and environmental standards. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement them accordingly.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in a healthcare or similar facility.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and address maintenance needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours if needed.
