Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and personable individual to join our HR team. In this role, you will work directly with the HR Manager on all tasks related to HR and Payroll. The position is based out of Carencro, Louisiana, Midland, Texas, or Muncy, Pennsylvania.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Operations and functional teams to fulfill hiring needs
  • Create, implement, evaluate, and improve HR and Payroll processes
  • Manage Employee Benefits programs including Health, Life, 401k, etc.
  • Ensure new hires understand HR and Benefits programs during hiring/onboarding process
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status
  • Work with HR Manager to field employee inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with and/or Lead bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Work with the HR Manager to create an annual budget and work within the parameters of that budget
  • Directly interact with candidates and respond to initial queries
  • Demonstrate a positive reflection of our brand and company
  • Adhere to fair employment laws and practices
  • Work with external agencies and vendors, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Familiar with HR and fair employment practices
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes
  • Exceptional time-management skills
  • Exemplary communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
