Job purpose
The Project Manager, Contracts serves as a critical connector across sales, contracts, customer service, product management, and marketing teams to ensure efficient contract management, bid support, and strategic market opportunities. This role drives execution and alignment of projects supporting contract implementation, compliance, and lifecycle management while fostering strong partner relationships and maintaining deep product knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a central liaison between sales, contracts, customer service, product, and marketing teams on contract projects.
- Facilitate cross-departmental coordination involving credit, banking, IT, customer care, spec, project management, and HR to support contract activities.
- Provide pricing, timelines, and follow-ups for bid and quoting opportunities.
- Lead qualification: assess and prioritize bid opportunities strategically.
- Conduct bid/solicitation reviews and coordinate timely responses.
- Maintain deep understanding of company products and competitor offerings to support effective bidding and contracting.
- Support timelines and tasks as it relates to redlining, negotiation, and execution of agreements.
- Oversee contract implementation, compliance evaluations, eligibility determinations, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor expirations, timelines, and deliverable updates to ensure compliance and renewals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contract partners, including participation in conferences, summits, and industry events (travel required).
- Review sales reports, analyze historical data, and identify market trends and opportunity development strategies.
- Conduct trainings for internal teams and external partners on relevant contract, product, and process topics.
- Manage vendor registrations and assist in timely execution of contract orders, including quoting, ordering, and invoicing as needed.

Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Contracts Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of bidding processes, compliance evaluations, and contract lifecycle management.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales reporting and market research.
- Willingness to travel for conferences, summits, and partner meetings as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with contract management or CRM software is a plus.
