Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking an onsite General Manager (Community Association Manager) for one of our large-scale communities in the Melbourne, FL area. Applicants must possess:
- Experience managing large-scale communities, ideally those with multiple amenities, large resident populations, and complex operations.
- Clubhouse and amenity oversight, including daily operations, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance.
- Community event planning, including organizing, budgeting, and executing events that enhance resident engagement and community spirit.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting site inspections and enforcing covenants and restrictions.
- Assisting Boards with daily association management and governance.
- Preparing for and facilitating Board and Membership meetings.
- Reviewing financial reports and working closely with accounting teams.
- Preparing annual budgets and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Managing community projects and overseeing contractor performance.
- Soliciting and evaluating vendor bids.
- Maintaining compliance with Florida Statutes and association governing documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Caliber is a plus.
Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned onsite community, ensuring the highest levels of service, aesthetics, and resident satisfaction.
Amenity & Clubhouse Oversight:
Supervise all aspects of clubhouse operations, including maintenance, staff coordination (if applicable), room reservations, scheduling, and amenity rules enforcement.
Event Planning & Lifestyle Programming:
Coordinate and implement social events and community programs. Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to enhance resident engagement through well-executed events.
Communication & Resident Relations:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Association, residents, and vendors, demonstrating professional and responsive customer service. Confidentiality and strong written/verbal communication skills are essential.
Financial Management:
Develop and monitor annual budgets. Provide monthly board reports including financials, management updates, and project progress. Prepare recommendations for capital improvements and maintenance planning.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Onsite Licensed CAM – Large-Scale Community Experience Preferred
- Active Florida CAM license required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in association management, preferably with large-scale communities or resort-style properties.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financials, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Caliber experience a plus.
