Functions of a Commercial Loan Administrator:
Assist a commercial lender or team of lenders in meeting their annual goals. Provide advanced technical and administrative support to the Commercial Lending team. Assist in all aspects of the commercial lending process: working with customers, loan analysis, document tracking, and closing. Work within the LoanVantage system to complete lender assigned tasks and other work. Assist lenders with loan review, audit. and OCC examination requests. May participate on commercial lending and bank-wide project teams.
Essential job functions / responsibilities of a Commercial Loan Administrator:
- Provide support to one or more commercial lenders, speaking to customers in person or over the phone.
- Respond to customer inquiries about their loan, new or existing; troubleshoot customer service issues as needed.
- Completes all loan assistant tasks if necessary
- Works with customers to facilitate the lending process, this may include:
1. Initial client consultation
2. Cash flow analyses
3. Develop credit memos
4. Tracking financial and other documents.
5. Meet with lenders for final decision-making approval
6. Closing loans as needed
- Work within the LoanVantage system to set up new relationships, complete spreads, pull credit reports and update relevant information.
- May also assist with Pipeline Management through the system.
- Assist with follow up tasks including LOC reviews, CITs, and HMDA tracking
- Monitor past due reports and work with customers to collect past due payments.
- Work with loan services and lenders to track expiring items, insurance documents and other loan related documents.
- Assists with loan review and other loan related audits
- Assists with annual OCC loan review process.
- Cross Sell other bank products and services
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements
Education Training and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of banking experience; lending experience preferred
- Excellent PC and Microsoft product skills
- Minimum of 12 months of lending experience, preferably in commercial lending
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
