POSITION SUMMARY:

The Treasury Management Specialist supports the development and maintenance needs of profitable business banking relationships. Duties will include client relationship support, as well as the details of account documentation and servicing.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Client Service Functions:

  1. Supports Cash Management Sales in the development and maintenance of business relationships in target markets by profiling, and gathering required information for service needs analysis.
  2. Participates and contributes to identify client needs and provide pro-active solutions.
  3. Engages in prepared calls on customers and prospects as required to support Cash Management sales team.
  4. Serves as primary contact for client calls and emails, performing account research as required.


Operational Functions:

  1. Processes Cash Management application for new service requests for merchant services, ACH, wires, remote captures, ICS/CDARS, business bill pay, positive pay and other Cash Management services offerings. 
  2. Opens accounts for Cash Management clients, updates signature cards, performs transfers, stop payments, and other account maintenance.
  3. Performs Account Analysis setup and processes monthly analysis statements.
  4. Supports on-site client setup and training for Remote Deposit Capture, Treasury Management Netteller, ACH, Wires, Positive Pay, and other Cash Management services.
  5. Performs temporary exposure limit increases for ACH/Wire/Remote Deposit/Bill Pay services per established guidelines.
  6. Ensures compliance for complete Cash Management client file as set forth in Stillman Bank policies.
  7. Monitors annual reviews on each Cash Management client to ensure timely renewal of exposure limits and monitoring. 
  8. Monitors and reports accounts which have exceeded ACH return thresholds for RDC and ACH origination transactions.  
  9. Monitors remote deposit scanner inventory, sending scanners out for repair as needed and retiring machines that cannot be fixed.  
  10. Create and update procedures as needed.
  11. Responsible for inventory of hard tokens which includes keeping a comprehensive list of users that have been given tokens.
  12. Responsible for insuring Jack Henry data is current and matches permissions granted during the annual review.


Professional Development:

  1. Attends training and educational classes as scheduled.
  2. Attends company meetings as scheduled, on-site or off-site, during or after normal work hours.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Participate in community affairs to increase the bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.
  2. Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Position requires a four-year degree in business, finance, or related field, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in business banking. Strong interpersonal, communication, sales and decision-making skills required. Must be computer literate, highly organized and detail oriented. High degree of confidentiality required and ability to work with deadlines. Must possess excellent customer relationship skills, good analytical and organizational skills; be able to coordinate numerous projects at one time. Professional oral and written communication skills required. Must display friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers and employees.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and operate standard office equipment.
  • Occasional travel for customer meetings and site visits.

  • This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with an expected pay range of $21.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
