We’re looking for a Business Operations Senior Lead to join the BizOps team in New York.
We consider BizOps to be a team of “mini COOs” working hand-in-hand with the
company’s leadership, enabling Lemonade to dream big. BizOps is responsible for building the muscle that allows Lemonade to constantly and confidently function at a hyper-growth pace. You’ll help shape the company's vision, translate it into strategic initiatives, and execute those projects. This role is critical for driving long-term operational excellence and automation, ensuring we can continue to scale efficiently.
In this role you'll
Support executives across Lemonade in annual and quarterly planning, as well as OKRs—helping ensure the right strategies and priorities are always being executed. Success looks like clear alignment on strategic goals and timely execution of key initiatives
Work closely with senior leadership in developing wide-scale and data-driven Business and Operational strategies. You'll be using your analytical skills to identify impactful opportunities
Use insights and analysis to guide decision-making and identify business improvement opportunities
Guide, mentor, and direct Business Operations associates, while also getting down and dirty with the data yourself – leader and a hands-on contributor
Lead operations in collaboration with one or more department heads, facilitating streamlined initiatives across lines of business, and driving long term operational excellence and automation
Lead cross-functional strategic projects, partnering with multiple teams and products across Lemonade. You'll be a central figure in driving significant company-wide projects
Own your own priorities—we trust you’ll make the right choices and proactively drive your projects to completion
What you'll need
9+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or business operations, including significant managerial experience
Experience with direct reports dotted lines in project management
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
Top-notch problem-solving skills and a wealth of experience in tackling large-scale, complex, and ambiguous problems
A passion for performing rigorous analysis, identifying gaps, and harnessing resources
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at working collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders across time zones
Extremely well-organized and self-motivated, thriving in an environment where you own your priorities
Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000 - $225,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
