Pecheles Honda is hiring a dedicated, self-starter to join our Award-Winning Team as a Parts & Service Assistant. 

This entry-level support role will handle receiving, stocking and organizing parts inventory, as well as filling external and internal orders; maintaining cleanliness and safety in customer areas, including the lot.  Additionally, the Parts and Service Assistant provides transportation to our valued customers, makes deliveries/pick-ups, run errands, and supports the entire business as needed.

Must be able to safely lift up to 75lbs, stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.  Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, be comfortable using navigation/GPS, and have excellent time management skills. 

This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality, as well as the flexibility to work a varying schedule between 7:30AM and 5:30PM, Monday thru Friday.

Our ideal candidate will grow with us and eventually promote to Parts Counter, Service Advisor, or a similar mid-level role.

Responsibilities  

  • Receives, unloads, unpacks and stock parts inventory.
  • Fills internal and external parts orders.
  • Reports low-stock and out-of-stock items to Managers.
  • Keeps customer areas neat, tidy, and safe.
  • Picks up debris from the lot and property, clears and cleans walk ways.
  • Sweeps, mops, etc. as needed to ensure a safe and presentable work place.
  • Organize and schedule customer transportation needs, deliveries/pickups, and errands.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
  • Perform safe pick up and deliveries of customers, supplies, etc.
  • Keep Parts, Service, and Sales updated on deliveries/transportation needs.
  • Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Support operations as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent record for consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain professional attire and appearance.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Able to safely lift up to 75lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods indoors & outdoors, all seasons.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
