Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. MD&A's Industrial Gas Turbine Division refurbishes gas turbine components, namely Combustion, Nozzles/Vanes, Buckets/Blades & Fuel Nozzles and seeking a Fuel Nozzle Technician.  


Working under the direction of a Fuel Nozzle Cell Leader to perform essential tasks and processes associated with the inspection, cleaning, diagnostics, and testing of Industrial Gas Turbine Fuel Nozzles.


Essential Functions:

  • Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble using hand tools and fixturing.
  • Responsible for the quality  of the product through the work cell. 
  • Perform flow tests on both the air and liquid circuits      of the products.
  • Safely execute mechanical  assembly and disassembly of Fuel Nozzle products. 
  • Maintain and practice good housekeeping within the assigned work area.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control in the work area. 
  • Perform periodic preventive maintenance on all department equipment and tools.
  • Maintain and adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping policies. 
  • Promote and execute compliance with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
  • Able to work days,  nights, weekends, holidays, and the occasional mandatory overtime when needed.
  • Adhere to and follow established assigned work hours. 
  • Perform all related tasks assigned by management. 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must prioritize, plan, and execute all assigned tasks safely. 
  • Use of fingers and hands to write; reach with hands and arms.
  • Able to read and  interpret written technical orders and plans. 
  • Ability to lift, push,  and pull 50 lbs. 

Experience Desired:

  • Experience in mechanical  manufacturing.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
