Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. MD&A's Industrial Gas Turbine Division refurbishes gas turbine components, namely Combustion, Nozzles/Vanes, Buckets/Blades & Fuel Nozzles and seeking a Fuel Nozzle Technician.
Working under the direction of a Fuel Nozzle Cell Leader to perform essential tasks and processes associated with the inspection, cleaning, diagnostics, and testing of Industrial Gas Turbine Fuel Nozzles.
Essential Functions:
- Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble using hand tools and fixturing.
- Responsible for the quality of the product through the work cell.
- Perform flow tests on both the air and liquid circuits of the products.
- Safely execute mechanical assembly and disassembly of Fuel Nozzle products.
- Maintain and practice good housekeeping within the assigned work area.
- Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control in the work area.
- Perform periodic preventive maintenance on all department equipment and tools.
- Maintain and adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping policies.
- Promote and execute compliance with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and the occasional mandatory overtime when needed.
- Adhere to and follow established assigned work hours.
- Perform all related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must prioritize, plan, and execute all assigned tasks safely.
- Use of fingers and hands to write; reach with hands and arms.
- Able to read and interpret written technical orders and plans.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
Experience Desired:
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
