Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to the following:
•     Responsible for the Production area Cleanliness and safety lead.
•     Responsible for supporting inventory control of manufacturing supplies and materials with 
accurate and timely information to ensure materials are available for production.
•     Lead member of the CAR team for Food Protection production.
•     Develop and communicate Food Protection manufacturing associate schedules to support 
equipment scheduling by planning.
•     Helps staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and 
evaluating job results.
•     Enforces company policies and guidelines.
•     Recruits, hires and helps with training new employees.
•     Ensures that production plans are completed.
•     Helps to develop Production procedures and work instructions.
•     Counsels employees on how to achieve optimal output and workflow.
•     Resolves issues and disputes between employees.
•     Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
•     Aids the Food Protection Operations Manager in monitoring the manufacturing budget and 
authorizes hourly employee timesheets.
•     Recommends to the Food Protection Operations Manager in the hiring, firing, and disciplinary 
actions for Food Protection Production associates.
•     All other responsibilities assigned by Food Protection Operations Manager.

Qualifications/Education/Special Skills
•     Previous supervisory experience.
•     Excellent coaching and communication skills.
•     Strategic planning skills.
•     Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
•     Ability to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting.
