Community Information:Fairview is seeking a .80 FTE Nurse Practitioner to join our Acute and Diagnostic Services (ADS) team. This position will split their time at our Southdale Medical Center in Edina, Minnesota along with our Ridgeview Building in Burnsville, Minnesota. May travel to additional ADS locations as needed.
Practice Details:
The Acute and Diagnostic Services team is a member of the primary care health care team who works in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers and other medical staff to provide acute and diagnostic services to stable patients that are not available or feasible in a primary care clinic. The role of an ADS Nurse Practitioner is to provide assessment and treatment for stable patients who require services that are more complex, require a longer intervention, or are services that are not provided in a typical primary care or urgent care clinic - but do not require emergency department stabilization services. Patients are referred to the ADS from Fairview Urgent Care or Primary Care Clinic locations.
- Opening: .80 FTE
- ADS Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm; Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Care for patients ages 16 and up
- No Call required.
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications:
- Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner training program or accredited Physician Assistant program
- Board Certified / Board Eligible through the AANP, ANCC or NCCPA.
- Licensed or ability to obtain APRN or PA license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing or Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
- Minimum of at least 3 or more years Primary Care experience.
