We are currently seeking a dependable and guest-focused Night Security & Maintenance Associate to join our team. This position combines light maintenance work, property monitoring, and guest support to ensure our resort remains safe, clean, and welcoming during the evening hours. Ideal candidates are hands-on, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently at night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete nightly checklist and close-out tasks from the day maintenance team
   
• Close and secure the pool area, ensuring only registered guests are present
   
• Perform light cleaning of common areas and assist with general maintenance needs
   
• Provide support to the front desk prior to their evening closing
   
• Walk and inspect the property for safety, security, and cleanliness
   
• Monitor guest parking and ensure spaces are not used by Marker 8 restaurant patrons
   
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve after-hours issues professionally
   
• Be on-call for urgent needs outside of standard working hours
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in maintenance, facilities, or general handyman work
   
• Strong communication skills and guest service mindset
   
• Ability to work independently and remain calm in unexpected situations
   
• Physical ability to walk the property and perform routine maintenance tasks
   
• Must be available Friday and Saturday nights; additional nights are flexible

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance, facilities, or similar hands-on experience
   
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
   
• Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights, plus two additional evenings
   
• Must be able to walk the property and perform light physical tasks (e.g., lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, climbing stairs)
   
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; guest-service oriented
   
• Basic troubleshooting skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC is a plus)
   
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or high-pressure situations
   
• Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
   
• Willingness to be on-call during scheduled shifts for urgent needs
   
• High school diploma or GED required
   
• Must pass background check and drug screening
