Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Analyst, S&T Contracts, is to review, validate, and generate WFS Energy & Sustainability trade confirmations (Physical, Derivatives, and Green Certificates) by following the WFS contract process.
Commodities include Oil, Green Certificates, Gas, Power (global markets).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Review and validate all S&T transactions by reconciling daily trade contractual terms against Trader recap/Broker recap, Counterparty confirmations and WFS Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system.
• Resolve trade discrepancies no later than trade date plus 1 day (T+1).
• Generate and send WFS sale and purchase confirmations no later than T+1.
• Review confirmations that WFS receives and counter no later than trade date plus 2 days (T+2).
• Ability to chase counterparties by email or phone if a confirmation has not been received no later than T2.
• File and label all contractual correspondence and email in our centralized repository following WFS Documentation Retention Process.
• Run daily trade reports out of ETRM system(s).
• Maintain Confirmation Team’s shared MS Outlook Mailbox, by responding timely with accurate information to both external and internal customers.
• Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and management.
Qualifications:
• Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification
• 2 years’ experience in Energy Contracts is preferrable
• International experience is preferrable
Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Innovative in providing and addressing business needs in a changing environment
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and a willingness to experiment and work with new technologies
