BRIEF DESCRIPTION
- Key task is to grow the business, acquire new customers
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of potential customers
- Follow up actively on projects and continuously create new opportunities
- Successful candidate must have account management capabilities to manage accounts from first approach to successful implementation of the treatment program
- Follow up on orders, manage supply chain with our supporting team
- After acquisition: follow-up on existing chemical water treatment applications
- Work on new treatment starts-up and applications improvement
- On-site water analysis, interpret results and make recommendations for correct settings
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in B2B Water Treatment / Chemical Engineering and/or Process Engineering. Ideally +5 years of experience. Experience in water treatment will be much appreciated
- Preferably a chemical engineer with several years of experience within water treatment business development and account management
- Good knowledge and experience in cooperation with customers and operators of process chemicals and/or water treatment
- Bachelor or Master’s degree with water experience is a plus
- Good knowledge & experience of water treatment processes and chemical applications is a must
- Good knowledge of the Cape Town area and Cape provinces industry and potential
