Hybrid Group Enterprise Architect - Group Functions - Bedfordview (GT, ZA) bei PG Group

Main job purpose: 

To architect, design, review and approve all PG Group IT assets, which includes enterprise system architecture and infrastructure, hardware, networks and software, and to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and smooth integration of these assets to enable PG Group and its respective divisions to meet their overall strategic objectives.

Main objective: 

• Formulate/Design, implement and oversee a coherent enterprise architecture landscape, current and future, that enables PG Group to be agile and remain relevant in order to achieve its strategic objectives.  This includes the operation and improvement for the full life of the architecture including replacing or retiring architecture and or architecture elements to remain relevant in an ever changing and high demand IT environment.
• Design, implement, direct and govern a network architecture that fits into the above in order to facilitate seamless integration within PG Group and its respective divisions and that meets the needs and requirements of customers and stakeholders from an enterprise, business, process, information, IT, system and service architect perspective.
• Design and implement an infrastructure architecture that is not only effective and efficient and meets all the above requirements but that is also the most cost effective.  Ensure appropriate budgeting for infrastructure and IT Asset requirements and monitor spending accordingly.
• Govern, direct and design application choices that will allow PG Group to meet its strategic objectives, in particular its growth objectives.
• Effectively manage relationships and network within the IT team and with other relevant stakeholders with a keen understanding of how everything fits together in order to meet diverse expectations whilst leading the enterprise system architecture design and development to ensure smooth integration.

Relevant Bachelor's Degree
