Hybrid Associate, Commercial (1-Year Contract) bei Jurong Port Pte Ltd

The Job

• Maintain accuracy and timely updates of key customer trackers and Vessel Charter Rates Tracker.
• Prepare monthly Bunching Reports, Accrual Reports, and Revenue/Productivity Accruals as part of month-end closing.
• Manage the collection of customer forecasts, ensuring high response rates through timely follow-ups and clear documentation, with escalation for non-responsive accounts.
• Calculate incentive payouts accurately and within the required timeframe to support annual compensation reviews.
• Propose and implement quarterly process improvements, achieving measurable efficiency gains or error reduction.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries within 24 hours, fostering strong professional relationships and supporting commercial objectives.
• Manage multiple data sources with differing update frequencies, ensuring consistency and accuracy through systematic validation and early stakeholder engagement.
• Balance persistent follow-up efforts for forecasts while maintaining positive and professional customer relationships in a competitive maritime environment.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Candidates with Engineering degrees are also welcome.
• 1–2 years of experience in commercial operations, data analysis, or customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with the maritime, port operations, or logistics industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, database management, and generating commercial and operational reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and resilient, with a professional demeanor suited to client-facing and internal interactions.
• Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in diverse, international teams.
