Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technical Support Engineer with strong expertise in Linux/UNIX systems, Kubernetes, and Shell scripting, along with hands-on experience in telecom protocols and online charging systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, handling incidents, and supporting business-critical applications in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Online Charging Systems (OCS) and related telecom infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HTTP2/REST, Diameter, and SS7 protocols.
  • Perform preventive health checks, monitor network stability, and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Handle incident management, including hot and critical issues, and perform KPI and traffic analysis.
  • Configure and maintain business/tariff products and ensure accurate deployment.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of skilled engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate in 24/7 shift rotations, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and Shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Good understanding of HTTP2/REST APIsDiameter, and SS7 protocols.
  • Experience in a customer support environment, preferably in telecom or network services.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, and configuration management processes.
  • Proficient in CouchbaseElasticsearch, and Kafka.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis platforms.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
